According a government information agency, the bill that passed Parliament in March is ready for the governor general’s signature and implementation by the Ministry of Finance and Public Service, along with the establishment of a Casino Gaming Commission and crafting of regulations. Multi-billion dollar projects are already planned for the Montego Bay area of the country, including the Rose Hall resort.
