A conference committee will work out the details of a Vikings stadium funding bill that passed the Minnesota legislature. Among the items that will be discussed are the amount of the Viking's contribution, the extent of user fees and expanding charitable pull-tab gambling to help pay for the proposed $975 million stadium, but a new tribal casino in downtown Minneapolis and racinos at the state racetracks have been ruled out.

Federal officials will review the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohican Indian’s proposal for a casino in Bridgeville, New York. The tribe, which is trying to build a $700 million resort in the Catskills, has twice had the plan rejected by the Interior Department. If approved, the Munsee Band would have to negotiate a deal with Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
