Massachusetts Tribal Casino Challenged

A would-be developer of a casino in New Bedford, Massachusetts has challenged the law that would authorize three casinos and a slot parlor because it gives preference to an Indian tribe in one of the three gaming zones. Mashpee Wampanoag Cedric Cromwell (l.) says the tribe will announce a site shortly.
