PokerTek Partners With Caliente
PokerTek has a new client in Caliente, the Mexican gaming company that operates 59 properties in the country. PokerTek has installed eight PokerPro Texas Hold’em tables at two of Caliente’s casinos.
PokerTek recently announced the installation of eight PokerPro Electronic Texas Hold'em tables at Caliente's properties in Mexico. The Hipodromo de Agua Caliente in Tijuana is the site of five PokerPro tables, which is PokerTek's largest client in Mexico.
"We are pleased to place our product in Caliente's properties as they expand their electronic Texas Hold'em offering," said Mark Roberson, PokerTek's acting CEO. "Hipodromo de Agua Caliente is a truly amazing facility offering live greyhound racing, sports betting, slots and other electronic games. With the opening of the poker room, Hipodromo is now able to offer its customers the only legal poker in Baja, California."
PokerTek also installed three PokerPro tables at Caliente's Mexico City property, Bosques. Caliente plans to expand its Texas Hold'em offerings around Mexico, where it operates 59 properties.
