Bally Names Parente Accounts VP

Slot and system manufacturer Bally Technologies announced that it has named Robert J. Parente vice president of corporate accounts.

Parente, the longtime executive vice president of sales and marketing for the former Progressive Gaming International Corporation, joined Bally in July 2009 as voice president of system sales, where he was responsible for sales and account management of select corporate and governmental clients. He worked for IGT prior to joining Bally, remaining with the division that has been PGIC when IGT acquired that system company.

In his new position, Parente—a 30-year industry veteran—will continue his account work with corporate and government clines, and in addition will oversee game sales in Nevada for many of Bally’s corporate accounts.

“Bob has done an outstanding job of leading our systems corporate accounts,” said Derik Mooberry, Bally vice president of North America game sales. “By taking on these additional sales and account-management responsibilities for our corporate and Nevada games customer partners, Bob will help us achieve even greater synergies of customer service and support.”
