Hit Suing Previous Board
Shareholders in Slovenia’s leading casino-resort company are up in arms over an audit of the company’s actions under the former management regime. The specifics will have to wait for the lawyers, apparently not for long.
Slovenian casino-resort operator Hit Group is suing its former management and supervisory boards.
At the company's annual meeting at the end of January, shareholders decided in favor of the action after becoming familiar with details from a special audit conducted on the period 2006-2009, according to Slovenian business news source finance.si. During the period in question, Hit was led by Niko Trost.
Current management will be seeking punitive damages from the bodies involved.
