Hermes SoftLab Joins Gaming Standards Association
Slovenia is already known as a center for electronic roulette manufacturers. Now, a Slovenian software company is out to win its share of the gaming industry’s attention.
Hermes SoftLab, a division of Slovenia-based ComTrade, has announced its membership in the Gaming Standards Association.
Hermes SoftLab is a major developer of software for the gaming industry and is one of the few companies in the world that offers both G2S and S2S standards implementation. The company is an international provider of software engineering services and IT solutions, serving storage and gaming industries, telecommunication service providers, financial institutions and the public sector.
In January 2008 the company launched a G2S building block, followed with support for version 2.0 in July 2009 to add better support and allow its customers to deliver a GSA-compliant solution more quickly.
Peter DeRaedt, GSA president, said, "We are very excited to see Hermes SoftLab, a ComTrade Company, join GSA as they are well positioned to drive the rapid adoption of the GSA standards. They provide the gaming industry software solutions that enable the implementation of our standards. Any vendor can now rapidly design products with the core GSA communication protocol already in place."
Ales Gornjec, business development manager for gaming at Hermes SoftLab, said, "We are pleased to announce our membership with GSA and look forward to contributing with other GSA members in order to build a clear set of standards to bring the gaming industry together."
