The Stratosphere Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas recently hired experienced restaurant manager Joseph Thompson to oversee the casino's Top of the World Restaurant as general manager.

Prior to joining the team at the Stratosphere, Thompson served as general manager of Las Vegas restaurants Alan Albert's Vintage Steakhouse and the Rosewood Grille. He also worked at Rafters restaurant.

"Joseph Thompson is one of the most experienced food and beverage professionals in the industry," said Matthew Mascali, the Stratosphere's beverage director. "He knows the business intimately in all its facets, from the front of house, to the kitchen and back office. He is a great addition to our team here at Stratosphere and we are confident in his ability to take Top of the World to even greater success."
