GLOBAL GAMING BUSINESS PODCAST: Sue Schneider and Mark Balestra

Sue Schneider is undoubtedly the world’s foremost expert on internet gaming. Her River City Group began publishing newsletters and reports and holding conference on the topic in the late 1990s. One of her key colleagues at River City was Mark Balestra. Schneider sold River City in 2006 and a year later, she and Balestra were out on their own continuing to sharpen their expertise in online gaming. Balestra’s BolaVerde Media Group is the leading internet publisher about the online gaming industry and Schneider’s eGaming Brokerage is the leading sales point for online gaming sites. Schneider also serves as the editor-at-large of Gaming Law Review and Economics. The two experts sat down with Global Gaming Business Publisher Roger Gros last month at G2E to discuss the prospects of legalization of online gaming in the U.S. at both the federal and state levels. They also discuss their upcoming conference in Washington D.C., the Digital Gaming & Lottery Policy Summit.
