The general election in the United States is creating much excitement across the country as the prospect of the first African American president or the first woman vice president hangs in the balance. As the bitter campaign winds down, however, attention turns to some of the lesser known issues to be decided during the same vote. For the gaming industry, there is a plethora of states that are considering issues that will have an impact on gaming companies and the overall industry. And the decisions on these issues may indicate trends that the industry will grapple with for many years to come.
