Massachusetts Pushing Up Gaming Discussion

A Senate panel will begin hearings on gaming proposals, several months earlier than the fall schedule agreed to earlier this year by Governor Deval Patrick and the House and Senate’s top leaders. However, the chairman of the economic committee of the Senate doesn’t want to waste time. Meanwhile the Indian tribe that wants build a casino resort in Middleboro has repudiated its deal with its backers.
