South Dakota Casino Lawsuit Stalled
A lawsuit by the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe of South Dakota against the state has hit a brick wall due to arguments over what may be admitted in evidence. The tribe claims that former Governor Bill Janklow’s administration negotiated its tribal state gaming compact in bad faith.
