Five international IR operators have been confirmed to attend the upcoming 1st Japan IR Expo in Hokkaido, to be held at AXES Sapporo on Wednesday and Thursday, December 11-12, 2019, reports event sponsor Innovent Inc. of Japan.
The operators include Melco Resorts & Entertainment, SJM Holdings, Hard Rock Japan, Rush Street Japan and Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment.
Inside Asian Gaming will serve as Lead Media Partner of the IR Expo, which is supported by the Federation of Hokkaido Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Hokkaido Economic Federation, Hokkaido Keizai Doyukai and the Hokkaido Tourism Organization.
The event is aimed at creating opportunities for local companies to enter the IR industry in Hokkaido should the region be selected as one of three locations for Japan’s first integrated resorts.
