Apple Extends Deadline for App Store Compliance

Apple Inc. has given mobile gaming developers a bit more time to make changes that will make their apps compliant with the tech giant’s iOS native code. In 2019, Apple required all gaming apps to meet unique terms and conditions in order to offer their products in the App Store.

Last year, Apple Inc. announced that all iGaming operators must modify their online wagering apps in order to offer them in its ubiquitous App Store. The technology leader has just given developers a little more time to get in compliance with Apple’s iOS native code.

Initially, in 2019 Apple gave developers just three months to create new versions of the apps. After a number of complaints regarding an “unrealistic” time frame to implement changes, the deadline was moved to March. Apple now has pushed the deadline back to June 30.
