The property is owned by Gaming and Leisure Properties and operated by Penn National Gaming.

The 273 hotel rooms at Hollywood Casino St. Louis’ Sunset Tower currently are undergoing a .3 million renovation. Expected to be completed in June, the project includes new furniture, light fixtures, wall coverings, artwork, window treatments, walk-in showers and wall-mounted flat screen TVs, said Vice President and Assistant General Manager Lydia Mason. “The improvement of our second hotel tower is just one more step in elevating our non-gaming offerings. Enhancing our hotel experience follows the significant investments we’ve made to improve and expand our food offerings over the past two years.”

The hotel-room upgrades are part of a $11.3 million renovation, including a new poker room and a $4.5 million makeover of the 211-room Rodeo Tower which debuted last September.
