AAP Survey on Goa Casinos

India’s Aam Aadmi Party has accused the country’s congress and the majority Bharatiya Janata Party of bringing too many casinos to the state of Goa. The AAP is polling residents on their wishes.

The Aam Aadmi Party of India blames the country’s national congress and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party of bringing casinos to the state of Goa against the wishes of most residents. The Times of India reports that the AAP is conducting a public survey on the issue, with results due before the end of October.

“Congress was responsible for bringing casinos to Goa with BJP and now they are trying to add another one,” said AAP spokesman Rupesh Shinkre, who added that a recently released economic survey “indicated negative growth in all the economic sectors of Goa.”
