Atlantic City’s Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa, which recently completed a $12 million upgrade on the market-leading property, has already begun another renovations to the hotel.
When it’s completed early next year, the $14 million project will redo the hotel lobby and renovate 312 hotel suites. The lobby work, expected to be completed by the end of the month, includes a new bar and VIP check-in.
The lobby renovation will add coffee service, a tapas and cocktail menu, and three large-screen televisions. On weekends, it will include a piano bar.
The work follows a $12 million project that opened a new sports betting lounge and entertainment facility in June and comes just weeks after the casino unveiled its Moneyline Bar & Book, a sports betting facility and its associated Level One Cocktail Bar & Lounge.
The reinvestment bodes well for the property’s continued success. From January through July of this year, the Borgata, in Atlantic City’s Marina District, has won more than $455 million, more than twice its nearest competitors.
“By enriching our hotel product, we are ensuring each guest enjoys an optimal Borgata experience that begins as soon as they walk through the door,” Marcus Glover, Borgata president, said in a statement.
