Sheldon Adelson, founder, chairman and CEO of the Las Vegas Sands Corp., earned $24.7 million last year, or 62.4 percent of the compensation paid to the group’s top five executives ($39.6 million).
According to GGRAsia, Adelson’s compensation included a US$12.5 million bonus.
Sands President and Chief Operating Officer Robert Goldstein earned US$8.3 million in 2019, compared to nearly US$24.7 million in 2018. The latter year’s total had been enlarged by a stock option award of US$15.9 million.
Patrick Dumont, executive vice president and chief financial officer, earned US$2.4 million in total. Zachary Hudson, who recently joined as executive vice president, global general counsel and secretary, made nearly US$1.5 million. And Lawrence Jacobs, who preceded Hudson in those posts, was paid nearly US$2.7 million.
