Adelson Earns $25 Million in 2019

Sheldon Adelson (l.), chairman and CEO of the Las Vegas Sands Corp., took home 62.4 percent of the 2019 annual compensation paid to the group’s top five executives, for a total of $24.7 million.

Sheldon Adelson, founder, chairman and CEO of the Las Vegas Sands Corp., earned $24.7 million last year, or 62.4 percent of the compensation paid to the group’s top five executives ($39.6 million).

According to GGRAsia, Adelson’s compensation included a US$12.5 million bonus.

Sands President and Chief Operating Officer Robert Goldstein earned US$8.3 million in 2019, compared to nearly US$24.7 million in 2018. The latter year’s total had been enlarged by a stock option award of US$15.9 million.

Patrick Dumont, executive vice president and chief financial officer, earned US$2.4 million in total. Zachary Hudson, who recently joined as executive vice president, global general counsel and secretary, made nearly US$1.5 million. And Lawrence Jacobs, who preceded Hudson in those posts, was paid nearly US$2.7 million.
