Wynn Resorts, Limited recently named Jay L. Johnson as a Class II member of its board of directors, bringing the board from nine to 10 members. Admiral Johnson will serve on the board’s Compensation Committee. His term will end at the 2019 annual meeting.
Following a distinguished 32-year career in the U.S. Navy, serving as chief of Naval Operations and a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Johnson retired in July 2000. Admiral Johnson then served in various senior executive roles at Dominion Resources Inc., including serving as chief executive officer of Dominion Virginia Power.
Admiral Johnson also served as chairman and chief executive officer at the international global defense, aerospace and technology company General Dynamics Corporation. Currently Admiral Johnson is a director at International Paper Company, the USAA, the U.S. Naval Academy Foundation and the Peregrine Fund.
