Affinity Gaming experienced a second breach April 28 with its website, but saw no evidence any information had been stolen. The first breach occurred last year and compromised credit details for an estimated 300,000 customers.
Affinity posted on its website an investigation has ensued. The company hired Mandiant for the investigation, which will confirm Affinity’s security and controls to secure credit card information.
The company oversees 11 casinos in four states and will provide customers with updates as the investigation progresses.
“We also will continue to evolve and enhance our system security, in response to new and emerging threats,” the company said.
