Affinity Interactive Names Butera President, Chief Executive Officer

Affinity Interactive appointed Scott Butera (l.) president and chief executive officer. Previously, he was chief executive officer at Affinity’s Sports Information Group division, and also held executive positions at MGM Resorts International and Tropicana Entertainment.

Affinity Interactive Names Butera President, Chief Executive Officer

Casino and sports betting company Affinity Interactive has named Scott Butera president and chief executive officer. Butera brings to his new position more than three decades of experience in the hospitality, gaming, entertainment and sports industries.

Previously, he was chief executive officer at Affinity’s Sports Information Group division, where, as overseer of e-commerce sales for the Daily Racing Form, he helped increase market share and revenue. He also held senior positions at MGM Resorts International, Tropicana Entertainment and others.

In his new role, Butera will set company strategy, oversee the company’s eight casinos and manage Affinity’s print and online media platforms, including the Daily Racing Form.
