Agilysys, Inc. a leading global provider of next-generation hospitality software solutions and services, announced that its president and CEO, Jim Dennedy, and its senior vice president of global revenue, Jim Walker, will both be featured on industry panels at the upcoming Global Gaming Expo Asia (G2E Asia), which will be held this week at the Venetian Macao.
With a significant market presence in Asia, including offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and the Philippines, Agilysys has boasted a strong commitment to the success of Asian gaming and hospitality customers with award-winning property management and point-of-sale solutions.
Dennedy will participate in a panel discussion titled, “Beyond Gaming: Tracking the Value of the Non-Gaming Customer.” The discussion will focus on amenities that produce the greatest return on investment and how clever marketing techniques can bring in high-value customers.
Dennedy, who has an extensive background in both the financial and hospitality industries and has served as president and CEO of Agilysys since 2011, will share his insights on how to create connections with non-gaming customers, how to measure their value to the property and how to effectively promote non-gaming activities, regardless of market fluctuations.
Walker will participate in the panel discussion entitled, “Growth & Stability: How to Maximize Current Customers and Optimize Total Revenue.” The discussion will focus on challenges facing the Asian gaming market and practical ways to overcome them.
Walker, who has deep industry experience and previously served as vice president of sales and marketing at Agilysys, will demonstrate how gaming properties can optimize the value of existing customers and uncover untapped market segments. He also will define critical areas for cost improvement and discuss how gaming properties can reduce overhead and maximize return on investment while simultaneously providing a quality guest experience.
“We are thrilled to have Jim Dennedy and Jim Walker participate in this year’s G2E Asia,” said Roger Gros, publisher of Global Gaming Business magazine and a consultant to the event. “They bring a wealth of industry experience and hands-on knowledge to the table, and their viewpoints will be both interesting and insightful. Agilysys is well-recognized in the worldwide gaming market, and Dennedy and Walker lead the company’s efforts.”
Global Gaming Expo Asia, organized by the American Gaming Association and Reed Exhibitions, is the pre-eminent show for the Asian gaming-entertainment industry. This year’s event will feature the inaugural Asia Gaming Awards, jointly organized by Asia Gaming Brief and the Innovation Group, as well as the Macau Retail Summit, which will look at ways in which customer service and technology can improve the retailing of non-gaming products and services
