Las Vegas-based gaming supplier PlayAGS, Inc. has named Laura Olson-Reyes a veteran, award-winning gaming communications veteran, as the company’s new vice president of marketing and communications.
Olson-Reyes brings more than 20 years of experience to AGS, including longtime corporate marketing and communications posts at several top slot manufacturers.

“Her experience in gaming, on both the operator and supplier side, as well as her ability to build brand awareness, her creativity and communications expertise, and her passion for the industry are a powerful combination that will help AGS drive greater momentum in the marketplace.
“The team looks forward to working with Laura on new initiatives to elevate the AGS brand and bring new perspectives to promote our one-of-a-kind products, people, and corporate culture.”
Olson-Reyes will oversee various marketing initiatives, external and internal communications, and community relations.
Most recently, Olson-Reyes spent three years as executive director of community and corporate relations for Scientific Games. There, she was responsible for external and internal communications, executive visibility and thought leadership, and corporate social responsibility.
Prior to that that, she served for more than seven years as senior director of corporate marketing and communications at Bally Technologies. The team she led at Bally won 30 awards for excellence in marketing and communications, product marketing oversight, corporate communications and community relations.
Olson-Reyes’ gaming and technology industry experience also includes marketing roles with gaming operators Caesars Entertainment and Stratosphere Casino Hotel & Tower.
