Ainsworth Game Technology has successfully installed its award-winning Historical Horse Racing (HHR) System and terminals at Sandy’s Racing and Gaming in Ashland, Kentucky.

The newly opened property features 675 HHR terminals, with nearly 60 percent of those connected to Ainsworth’s HHR System. Additionally, the newly opened property includes 70 Ainsworth terminals featuring titles such as the top performing San Bao Pandas and Dragons, making their second appearance in Kentucky.

“We are excited to have such a strong partner in Kentucky with Sandy’s,” said Deron Hunsberger, Ainsworth’s president of North America. “Ainsworth’s HHR System continues to set the standard in the Historical Horse Racing market, and we look forward to continued success for both Ainsworth and our partners as we continue to expand our presence in Kentucky and other HHR jurisdictions.”

Players at Sandy’s can enjoy a full suite of Ainsworth’s top performing content on several unique terminals including the A-STAR Curve, A-STAR Curve XL, A-STAR Dual Screen and A-STAR Slant cabinets.

The titles and platforms have been specifically engineered for HHR, certified by an independent testing lab, and approved by applicable gaming and racing commissions.

“Ainsworth’s HHR platform offers the best value proposition to operators in the Historic Horse Racing market today,” said John Marshall, president of Revolutionary Racing and SANDY’S Gaming. “We congratulate Deron and his team at Ainsworth from ‘exec to tech’ for leading with a competitive HHR system option. We look forward to blazing SANDY’S trail with partners like Ainsworth.”
