Ainsworth to Launch A640 in North America

Ainsworth Game Technology will launch its new A640 slot cabinet, introduced at Global Gaming Expo 2016, at casinos across North America early next month.

Slot manufacturer Ainsworth Game Technology announced it will launch the innovative A640 slot cabinet at casinos across North America early next month.

The sleek cabinet, which debuted at the Global Gaming Expo in September, features optimal viewing on 40-inch high-definition touch-screen game screen and an attractive design creating powerful game experiences with eye-catching game art. The cabinet comes standard with a touch-screen LCD button deck with a mechanical “bash button” to combine the ease of new technology with the excitement of traditional slot play. Plus, an optional 27-inch LCD topper will attract players across busy casino floors.

“The response from customers has been tremendous,” said Ainsworth President-North America Mike Dreitzer. “Several casino operators commented that they thought it was one of the best new cabinets shown at G2E.”

The A640 will launch with a combination of licensed content and new games with fresh math models and premium graphic content. Among the brands to appear on the A640 in the coming months are King Kong, The Magnificent Seven and Three Amigos. Additionally, new games designed specifically for the A640 include the first titles produced by Ainsworth’s new Las Vegas-based studio: Rumble Thunder and Toro Treasures, both part of the new Sweet Zone Xtreme series.

“The A640 launch follows on the early success we have seen with the launch of our A600 dual-screen cabinet,” said Dreitzer. “We had an amazing G2E season with tremendous customer engagement. We also officially opened our new 291,000-square-foot North American headquarters during the past few months. Placing the A640 on casino floors across the country will continue our momentum as we head into 2017 poised for continued growth.”
