Amanda Logue Appointed CSTB Board

Amanda Logue, BMM Canada test manager, recently was named to the board of directors to the Canadian Software Testing Board. She will serve as the board's director of marketing. Logue offers more than 20 years of testing experience in both the gaming and non-gaming industry.

Gaming testing laboratory and technical consultancy BMM Testlabs recently announced BMM Canada Test Manager Amanda Logue has been appointed to the board of directors to the Canadian Software Testing Board and will serve as its director of marketing.

Vice President, Operations, Canada Jean Corriveau said, “BMM is very proud of the appointment of Amanda to the board of directors to the CSTB. As a global partner with the International Software Testing, it brings extreme value to BMM. Logue comes with over 20 years of testing experience in both the gaming and non-gaming industry and we are honored to have her represent herself and BMM on this platform.”

Logue added, “I joined the CSTB technical committee back in 2015 and I have been a member of the ISTQB TBOK working group since last summer. What I love about being part of the CSTB is sharing my passion for testing with others.”

For the past three years, BMM has been a platinum partner to the CSTB, the Canadian national branch of the International Software Testing Qualifications Board, which advocates education and examination. The CSTB is one of many national boards participating in the ISTQB.

ISTQB has administered more than 785,000 exams and issued more than 570,000 certifications in more than 120 countries worldwide as of December 2017.
