Asian gaming investment firm Amax International Holdings has officially changed its name to Century Entertainment International Holdings Ltd. The change was approved by the Hong Kong Registrar of Companies on December 3.
As of December 16, the rechristened company headed by Ng Man Sun will change its website URL to www.ceihldg.com. It also recently introduced a rebranded logo.
The company reported recently that its revenues for the six-month period finishing on September 30 of this year dropped 54.3 per cent year-on-year to about HK$28.5 million (US$3.6 million), due to poorer results from the group’s VIP room operations in Cambodia.
The company also has businesses interests in Vanuatu gaming, in the development of AR/VR entertainment, apps on mobile devices platforms, and customized IT and design solutions in gaming businesses.
Through its subsidiary Victor Mind Global Ltd., Amax, aka Century, operates a VIP room with 13 baccarat tables at Genting Crown Casino in Poipet, Cambodia. In October, it leased four gaming tables at the Century Entertainment Casino in Sihanoukville.
