Ameristar East Chicago Opens Stadium Sports Bar & Grill

The new Stadium Sports Bar & Grill recently opened at Ameristar East Chicago, celebrating the history of Chicagoland sports with memorabilia, 70 draft and craft beers and a special menu. It's the fourth Stadium location at Pinnacle Entertainment properties.

National Baseball Hall of Famers Andre Dawson and Carlton Fisk recently tossed the ceremonial first pitch at the opening of the .5 million Stadium Sports Bar & Grill at Ameristar East Chicago. Vice President and General Manager Matt Schuffert said, “We are excited to introduce Stadium Sports Bar & Grill to the Northwest Indiana area as the premier destination to enjoy great food and watch all of your favorite sporting events while surrounded by the rich history of Chicagoland sports. As the fourth Stadium restaurant owned and operated by Pinnacle Entertainment, we’ve created the ultimate sports environment with state-of-the-art technology, iconic sports memorabilia, a vast selection of beers and a unique menu that offers something for everyone.” The new restaurant employs 55 people.

Stadium will feature memorabilia from the White Sox, Cubs, Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks and Indiana collegiate teams. Guests can follow their teams’ scores on a state-of-the-art sports ticker above the Jumbotron and two 90-inch TVs, and watch 40 HDTVs. With Hearing Hotspot technology, they can stream the audio of any game through their mobile device.

Stadium’s menu will highlight traditional sports bar cuisine plus new creations including house-made chorizo, beer cheese soup and tater tots with cheddar lager sauce. The bar will feature 20 draft and 50 craft beers.
