Apache Sky Casino Holds Ribbon Cutting

The San Carlos Apache tribe in southeastern Arizona has opened the Apache Sky Casino. It has 300 slot machines, black jack and poker.

The Apache Sky Casino, owned by the San Carlos Apache tribe, held a ribbon cutting April 1 for the facility, which has 300 slot machines, black jack and poker. It included a blessing and dance performance and was attended by local politicians and county supervisors.

Tribal Chairman Terry Rambler spoke about how the casino came together through the cooperation of all.

An earlier ceremony, limited to tribal members was held March 31. It included a flag raising by veterans from the tribe.

Besides gaming, the casino also has a bar and gourmet food truck operated by Whiskey Ranch Grill, which has appeared on the Food Network
