Aransas Queen Casino Starts Cruising

Despite a rain delay, the Aransas Queen Casino is now offering gambling cruises out of Aransas Pass, Texas. The vessel holds 300 passengers and offers more than 200 slots and 14 table games, plus a bar and buffet. Tickets are $27 for a mid-day or evening cruise.

The maiden voyage of the Aransas Queen Casino, docked at Aransas Pass, Texas, was cancelled due to foul weather, but the floating casino is now offering daily gambling cruises. General Manager Allen Masny said operations will be limited at first to either 11 a.m. or 7 p.m. cruises, but within a few weeks the Aransas Queen Casino will offer two cruises a day at per ticket, available online only.

The boat holds 300 passengers and features more than 200 slot machines and 14 table games including craps, roulette, poker, blackjack, baccarat and shootout poker. A sportsbook also is available. Masny noted guests can expect “a first class Las Vegas gaming experience.”

The Beach Club Bar and Grill is still undergoing renovations, but Masny said it will open mid-August. Meanwhile the boat offers another bar and buffet.
