The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians named Peter Arceo chief gaming officer at the San Manuel enterprise, where he will oversee strategies for innovation and growth of the tribe’s gaming portfolio, including its flagship Yaamava’ Resort & Casino in Highland, California.
A 28-year gaming industry veteran, Arceo has served as general manager at Yaamava’ Resort & Casino as well as chief marketing officer, and also was chief operating officer at San Manuel Casino. Under Arceo’s leadership, Yaamava’ Resort & Casino received a Forbes Travel Guide 5-Star Award for Serrano Spa and 4-Star Awards for both the resort and The Pines Steakhouse.
Arceo previously was vice president and chief marketing officer at Casino Arizona & Talking Stick Resort, where he was vice president and chief marketing officer. He also worked for Strategic Gaming Advisors, Las Vegas Hilton and Boyd Gaming Corporation.
Arceo holds a master of business administration degree from the University of Southern California and a bachelor of science degree in hotel administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Currently he is pursuing a master of legal studies degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
