The Provincial Institute of Lotteries and Casinos of Misiones has suspended the operation of local online gambling platform MisionBet.
The regulator said that it had decided to make the move in order to “guarantee transparency and security to gamblers.”
“For reasons beyond its control, non-attributable to the IPLyC and within the framework of its obligation to guarantee transparency and security to gamblers, we find ourselves in need of suspending the activity of the MisionBet gaming platform,” the regulator said in a press statement.
MisionBet was launched by the IPLyC in December 2015 and allows locals to play online with both credits and prizes managed through local lottery outlets. The site offers sports betting, online casino games and poker.
