Aristocrat Leisure Limited, on the heels of a huge contract to supply its Oasis 360 casino management system to all Boyd Gaming properties in the U.S., is targeting the system for expansion into Asian casinos.
Lloyd Robson, Aristocrat’s sales and business development officer for Asia Pacific, told Inside Asian Gaming at the recent Global Gaming Expo that a number of potential Asian customers expressed interest in the Oasis system at the recent Global Gaming Expo.
“We don’t have a system in Asia per se, but we’ve had a number of customers through G2E over the past few days that have expressed an interest in our Oasis 360 system,” Robson said. “In the last quarter back in Asia, there have also been some requests around systems with Aristocrat. While we are a very strong product and content player in Asia, systems are not something that we have typically pursued in recent years, but on the back of this show and the momentum globally it’s something that we really want to explore.
“Obviously, our typical slot product is performing really well in Asia, we’ve got strong market share and our customer engagement is very high, so we’re looking now to our broader global portfolio to see what else we can bring and cede into Asia to continue the growth that we’re on.”
Robson said Oasis 360 had attracted particular interest from customers in Macau and the Philippines, as well as some interest in Korea and Vietnam.
Oasis 360 combines Aristocrat’s portfolio of casino management technology comprised of slot management, bonusing, digital, table management, single card loyalty solutions, kiosk and a media management hub.
