Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino and Resort near Phoenix, Arizona recently opened its expanded conference and event center: The Events Center.
It includes 28,350 square feet that connect directly to the 529 room hotel. The space can be reconfigured to many combinations depending on the need.
Abby Hobbs, director of sales, commented, “The new space at Harrah’s provides numerous locations for every part of a meeting, whether it is a general session in the divisible ballroom or a poolside cocktail party at the scenic outdoor space. Guests can enjoy a retreat-style environment while still having access to live music and multiple nearby entertainment options.”
Michael Kintner, director of marketing and operations, added, “The completion of our recent expansion redefined Harrah’s offerings for meetings and events in Phoenix and the surrounding area.” He said the space can accommodate large events. The center offers fine dining, entertainment, a courtyard pool, spa, and is close to the
UltraStar Multi-Tainment Center and AK-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club.
The Ak-Chin Ballroom can host as many as 1,000 guests banquet style and can be divided into six break-out room.
