Cliff Castle Casino Hotel in Cape Verde, Arizona, January 14 held a grand opening for its new retail sportsbook lounge. It included a ribbon cutting for the project that had its impetus in 2020 as a renovation.
Cliff Castle is an enterprise of the Yavapai-Apache tribe, which in November reached a multi-year agreement with IGT Playsports to operate the retail sportsbook.
The overall project also included two new bars, a players club and high limit gaming area.
Cliff Castle General Manager Aaron Moss, said in a statement, “We are beyond thrilled to see the entire property come together and are proud of all the incredible improvements we have made here.” said Aaron Moss, general manager of Cliff Castle Casino Hotel. “It was worth the wait to see our vision turn into a reality, creating a truly remarkable casino and hotel where our guests can enjoy all the new offerings and modern feel of the property.
“This renovation also connects us to a broader audience because we now have something luxurious and exciting for everyone to enjoy, be it adults who love gaming, young couples who enjoy a fun getaway, or families looking for a weekend destination—there’s truly something for everyone.”
