The Desert Diamond Casino West Valley near Glendale, Arizona is on schedule to open in February 2020. The new resort will replace a temporary facility in Glendale owned by O’odham Gaming Enterprise, an enterprise of the Tohono O’odham Nation.
When it opens on February 19, the new casino will feature slots, poker, blackjack, and live bingo, as well as five new dining venues and other amenities. It will complement the region’s sports and entertainment attractions, including Glendale’s Westgate Entertainment District and Peoria’s P83 Entertainment District, according to a release from O’odham Gaming.
More than 650 positions are open and available to be filled over the coming months, from food and beverage to environmental services, security, slot technicians, blackjack and poker dealers, and more.
