Kimberly Arnold, partner/chief operating officer at the Innovation Group, recently was recognized as one of the 2014 Denver Business Journal’s Outstanding Women in Business. Arnold was the winner in the Large Business Owner category (20 or more employees). The honor is based on criteria including innovation, entrepreneurship, professional accomplishments and community leadership.
Arnold said, “I am grateful to be included among this year’s Outstanding Women in Business honorees. It is inherent to the culture at the Innovation Group that we encourage our employees to be active in our industries and local communities, and this recognition is a reflection of our shared commitment to making a difference beyond our core operations. I am incredibly proud of this award, to be associated with an organization that unequivocally supports women in business, and to set an example for our employees regarding the importance of extending our presence into community and philanthropic realms.”
Arnold is actively involved in the American Gaming Association’s Global Gaming Women program, and as one of the co-producers of the successful iGaming North America Conference, she has worked on behalf of the Innovation Group and IGNA to host several Global Gaming Women events Arnold also co-founded the Emerging Leaders of Gaming program, an effort by the Innovation Group to provide networking and educational opportunities for young professionals in gaming. In addition, Arnold is an affiliate member of the International Masters of Gaming Law.
Within the community, Arnold serves on the board of directors for the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce and chairs its public affairs committee. She is the 2014 chair of the Circle of Red Society for the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, and for the past two years has served as chair of the board of directors for the Rise School of Denver. She also serves as a mentor for the recently launched BizWomen initiative and is a past corporate representative for the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and Urban Land Institute.
