Aruze Gets Iowa License

Aruze Gaming America has secured its license to manufacture and distribute gaming equipment in Iowa, making its temporary license permanent.

The Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission has granted slot-maker Aruze Gaming America a license to manufacture and distribute gambling equipment in the state of Iowa.

The company had previously been issued temporary licensure by the IRGC, which allowed the company to begin selling and leasing gambling equipment throughout 2015. The firm has already installed slot machines and e-tables at several of Iowa’s largest casinos.

“As the fastest-growing supplier, Aruze’s business plan in recent years is to continue to deliver new, exciting and innovative products and to expand its customer base,” said Aruze CEO Kelcey Allison. “In order to reach new customers and markets, Aruze has focused on applying for gaming licenses in a variety of new commercial and tribal jurisdictions. Aruze’s licensure with the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission is just another sign of the company’s continued growth and success.”

Over the last two years, Aruze has received new licenses in more than 25 jurisdictions, including Ohio, West Virginia and Nova Scotia.
