Atlantic City Claridge Hotel to Open Art Gallery and Free Exhibit

The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City—now a non-casino hotel—has announced it will open a Holtzman Art Gallery on property this fall. The space will feature a public exhibit of the original works of over fifty artists and have separate parking.

The Claridge Hotel will open a Holtzman Gallery art gallery this fall.

According to a press release, the space will feature original works of over fifty artists, spanning from local to world-famous and celebrity artists and will display fine art such as sculptures, paintings, limited-edition museum-quality prints, glass art and metal art.

The exhibit will be located off of the hotel’s first floor main lobby in what was formerly the hotel’s casino space. The Claridge no longer offers casino gaming. The gallery will have a free gallery-only parking lot directly outside its entrance doors at Park Place and Pacific Avenue.

The high-end fine art exhibits will be free and open for the public Monday-Thursday, 10:00a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Friday-Saturday 10 a.m.-10 p.m., with the possibility of more extended weekend hours to accommodate late-night art enthusiasts, the release said. The venue will also be available as a special event space.

Yaacov Agam, Jan Balet, Salvador Dali, Nicola Simbari, Tsugio Hattori, Peter Max, Pino Daeni, Louis Icart, Erte, John Lennon and Anthony Quinn are just a few of the famous artists that will be displayed, the release said.
