Australia-based Tabcorp, has announced executives for its two divisions, which will demerge next summer. The two divisions will include its Lotteries & Keno and Wagering & Gaming businesses. Sue van der Merwe (l.) will become CEO of the Wagering & Gaming division.

Australia’s Tabcorp Announces Appointments

Australia-based racing, lottery and gaming company Tabcorp, which will demerge those two sectors into its Lotteries & Keno and Wagering & Gaming businesses, has announced related appointments.

Chairman Steven Gregg will serve as chairman of the Lotteries & Keno business, joined by directors Harry Boon and Anne Brennan. At the company’s annual general meeting, Gregg said, “A selection process to appoint further directors and executive team members has commenced.”

Sue van der Merwe, who manages the wagering and gaming business, will take over as CEO with Adam Newman designated as CFO.

On the Wagering & Gaming side, Tabcorp director Bruce Akhurst will be chairman, with David Gallop, Janette Kendall and Justin Milne as directors. Adam Rytenskild, current managing director will be CEO, with Dan Renshaw as CFO.

Tabcorp announced the demerger in July.
