Bally Announces G2E Lineup

Bally Technologies has released details on its display of slot, table, system and utility products for next week’s Global Gaming Expo trade show.

Slot, system, table and utility supplier Bally Technologies released details on the product lineup it will show at next week’s Global Gaming Expo.

At G2E, Bally will demonstrate a wide range of innovations for the entire gaming floor in a massive 25,756-square-foot, two-level booth—the show’s largest exhibit. With Bally’s acquisition of SHFL entertainment, Inc. last November, the company now offers the most diverse product portfolio in the industry.

“This is a special G2E for Bally as it’s the first time we’re demonstrating solutions for the complete gaming floor,” said Bally Chief Executive Officer Richard Haddrill. “We are confident that our casino partners will see how they can ‘go all in’ with Bally, as we are uniquely positioned to deliver a single view of the player and connect the gaming world end-to-end like never before with products that will excite their players in the casino, at home, and on the go.”

Among the highlights:

• “Friends” video slots will reunite players with the beloved characters from Warner Bros. Television’s worldwide hit comedy that TV Guide named one of the 50 greatest shows of all time. The Friends game features clips of the show’s many hilarious moments, and a wheel bonus awarding credits or one of four different free-game features. The Friends™ game is presented on the ALPHA 2 Pro Theatre, a new cabinet configuration debuting at G2E that features twin Pro Wave cabinets topped by a 55-inch horizontal video screen designed to envelop players in the entertainment experience and deliver maximum impact on casino floors. The game has been developed in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Warner Bros. Television.

• “Duck Dynasty” features six different bonuses based on the A&E reality show centered around the lives of Louisiana’s Robertson family and its bearded men, who struck it rich building a company based on patriarch Phil Robertson’s invention of the Duck Commander duck call.

• “Wonder Woman,” based on the campy 1970s TV series with Lynda Carter as the Marvel Comics Amazonian superhero, uses the Pro Wave cabinet to mine the classic TV series for everything from video clips to the cheesy, mock-serious theme song

• “Betty Boop’s Firehouse” and “Betty Boop’s 5th Avenue” extend the popular series based on the 1930s cartoon vixen with a nine-level progressive slot and a wheel-based bonus game, respectively.

Additionally, four new games join Bally’s popular lineup of titles featuring the player-favorite Quick Hit mechanic: “Cash Wizard featuring Quick Hit,” “Cash Wheel Black & White featuring Quick Hit,” “Quick Hit Cash Spin” and “Twin Fire,” which is a combination of Hot Shot Progressive and Quick Hit.

Also taking center stage will be Bally’s Take ‘n Play, a remarkable innovation that enables players to take their game off the casino floor and into other areas of the property for the first time by playing a physical slot machine on the convenience of a tablet.

Bally will unveil several new trailblazing cabinets at the show, including the Pro Theatre, featuring twin Pro Wave cabinets topped by a 55-inch horizontal video screen designed to envelop players in the entertainment experience.

The Pro Series V27/27 slant-top dual-screen cabinet supports Bally’s extensive library of dual-screen video content in a sleek exterior that features a lower profile and provides expansive sightlines across your casino floor. Optimal viewing, comfortable seating, increased interaction, an ergonomic deck with soft-touch coating, and even an integrated purse hook are included

The Pro Wave 360° redefines community-style gaming with its circular display featuring five Pro Wave cabinets, a striking 50-inch curved 360-degree video topper, and 360-degree surround sound. This head-turning configuration will feature a new interactive game, Dragon Spin, in which players share the joys of winning and bonuses.

Free Bet Blackjack will head a lineup of 12 proprietary table games including Fortune 7 Baccarat, Blazing 7s Blackjack Progressive, and DJ Wild Poker Progressive. Free Bet Blackjack, which lets players split and double down without risking additional money, is now being played throughout the United States and England.

Bally will also debut Fortune Asia Poker, a version of Chinese Poker where players make three poker hands and compete against the dealer, and Match ‘em Hi Lo, where players try to guess whether their three-card hand will be lower or higher than the dealer’s hand.

Bally’s Utilities segment will be highlighted by Safe Bacc, a new product that combines a shuffler and card reading shoe into one device to increase game speed and improve security on baccarat tables. Also on display will be i-Deal Plus, the next generation i-Deal with improved card reading and reliability, and Shuffle Flex, a groundbreaking “pay-by-the-shuffle” concept targeting part-time tables that is now available on the MD3.

In electronic table games, Bally will feature Fusion Hybrid, TableMaster Fusion, and Fusion Virtual Multigame.

Fusion Hybrid features connections with up to four live-dealer games and user-friendly, 22-inch wide-screen electronic betting terminals. Players can switch between and concurrently play baccarat, roulette, and sic bo from the same terminal with the convenient touch of a button.

TableMaster Fusion features a high-definition, 72-inch LCD display with virtual dealers and 22-inch wide-screen player terminals with touch-screen betting, enhanced graphics and multiple side bets. At the show, TableMaster Fusion will feature blackjack and Three Card Poker.

Taking center stage in the Systems area will be the latest in tournament innovations, Tournaments Express. Tournaments Express is a stand-alone tournament system designed to offer exciting slot tournaments on more than 100 different cabinet types from various manufacturers, easily and quickly converting revenue-producing games to tournament games and back.

Bally will introduce three new applications for its award-winning Elite Bonusing Suite (EBS) including Power Progressive Strike and Power Paytable Progressive, two new progressive jackpot applications. Bally also will introduce Casino Lotto, a powerful floor-wide technology that will allow guests to wager on secondary games without leaving their machine. Also on display will be Social Link, a pioneering new EBS feature that enables casinos to integrate the suite’s bonusing events with their social media, live and in real time.

Visitors to Bally’s Interactive exhibit will see the company’s latest enhancements to its award-winning iGaming Platform and cloud-based Bally Mobile Platform. Players are now able to sign up for players’ club cards, earn and redeem points, and engage with their favorite casino hosts directly from their computer or mobile device.
