Gamblers in New Jersey can now place a sports bet and take a spin of a virtual slot machine without changing apps on Bally’s new integrated Bally Bet Sportsbook & Casino, which the company launched Nov. 12.
The app is powered by White Hat Gaming and allows for seamless play between the sportsbook and online casino offerings. The company also introduced a universal wallet that can be accessed for either kind of gambling.
According to a Bally’s press release, the new app combines the functionalities of the company’s existing sportsbook and casino apps for one-stop shopping. The integrated platform is currently only available in New Jersey.
“This unified platform combines our existing apps’ features and functionality, offering New Jersey players a seamless sports and casino betting experience,” North American CEO Brett Calapp said via press release. “Enhancing the player experience remains a crucial focus in personalizing the fun while playing Bally Bet.”
Company will offer migration assistance
Bally Bet Sportsbook is currently available in 10 other states — Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Ohio, Tennessee and Virginia. The only states in which Bally’s is live for online casino are New Jersey and Rhode Island.
According to the press release, Bally’s will contact customers in-app and via e-mail and social media to “guide them through the migration process.”
Monopoly Replaces Virgin Casino
Bally’s Nov. 12 also announced that it rebranded its Virgin Casino app to Monopoly Casino, which is live in the United Kingdom and Spain. The rebrand launched in New Jersey Nov. 7 and customers were automatically migrated from the existing Virgin Casino platform to Monopoly.
Games that were available on the Virgin Casino are now available on Monopoly, in addition to more games. Bally’s has plans to roll out a suite of Monopoly-branded slots.
