Colorado sports fans can now place wagers online via Bally Corp.’s mobile sportsbook, known as Bally Bet.
The Rhode Island-based gaming operator announced May 24 that Bally Bet had gone live. Testing and refinement of the app and its content are ongoing.
“We are excited to provide sports fans across Colorado with a new and innovative way to engage with their favorite sports and teams,” said Bally’s Senior Vice President for Strategy and Interactive Adi Dhandhania Monday in a statement. “We are confident that the Bally Bet sportsbook will provide those fans with the same unique and first-in-class experience that our loyal gaming customers have come to expect from our three Colorado casinos.”
Bally Bet is the gaming operator’s first foray into the mobile sports betting market. In November 2020, Bally’s acquired Bet.Works, a sports betting platform provider that operates in New Jersey, Iowa, Indiana and Colorado. Bally’s expects to launch Bally Bet in three more states by the end of 2021.
“Bally Bet is the culmination of a tremendous amount of hard work by both the Bally’s and Bet.Works teams and represents a key component of Bally’s long-term growth and diversification strategy,” said David Wang, co-founder and CEO of Bet.Works in a statement. Wang will become the CEO of Bally’s Interactive once Bally’s closes its acquisition of Bet.Works.
