Health officials in British Columbia announced May 25 that casinos, gaming centers and bingo halls could reopen as early as July 1, after being closed since March 16, 2020 by Covid-19.
The reopening will be contingent on the numbers of Covid cases continuing to decline and vaccinations continuing to increase, said Dr. Bonnie Henry.
Other restrictions that could be lifted include capacity limits for restaurants and liquor service restrictions.
