Beau Rivage Biloxi Names Cartwright Banquet Director

Bruce Cartwright has been named director of banquets at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi, where he started his hospitality career in 2005. Most recently he was director of food and beverage at Gold Strike Casino Resort.

Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi promoted 30-year hospitality industry veteran Bruce Cartwright to director of banquets. Cartwright will be responsible for directing and leading all on-site and off-site catering, convention and special event functions and will work directly with the convention and catering sales teams and the food and beverage leadership team.

Cartwright joined MGM Resorts International in 2005 as a food and beverage relief manager at Beau Rivage and subsequently held numerous hospitality positions with the company, ultimately serving as director of beverage at MGM National Harbor in 2018. Cartwright also was a member of the Task Force Opening Teams for MGM National Harbor and MGM Springfield. Most recently he was director of food and beverage at Gold Strike Casino Resort.

An Ocean Springs native, Cartwright was awarded his Introductory Sommelier Certificate by the Court of Master Sommeliers.
