The Bermuda Casino Gaming Commission has formed a partnership with the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement to share information on gaming regulations.

In a statement, the commission said the formalization of the cooperative relationship between the two bodies would help accelerate the regulatory process.

“The DGE is one of the most well-respected regulatory agencies in the world,” said Richard Schuetz, the former California regulator who serves as executive director of the BCGC. “Our ability to work with them will allow us to expedite many regulatory processes, as well as helping us ensure that the people and firms allowed to do business in Bermuda operate with the highest levels of character, honesty and integrity.”
