BetBull Stops Taking Bets, Will Close July 3

The U.K. gaming company BetBull has announced it will close July 3. It is telling customers to settle bets and withdraw their funds before then. Customers have also been blocked from making new deposits.

BetBull first launched in 2017, and it tried the strategy of employing new media to make betting a social activity between friends. It used the tagline “Never bet alone.” Its app allowed players to interact with others who bet on the same outcome in an event.

The company is continuing to offer customer support to make sure that no one is not paid from their accounts.

Wynn Resorts is one of the major investors in the company, having invested $80 million. It is unknown exactly why BetBull is closing. Some industry experts have posited that it is because of regulatory problems.
