Betfair has announced that it is withdrawing its exchange betting product from the Austrian online gaming market, but gave no reason for the move.
Analysts feel it is part of the company’s strategy to concentrate on more profitable markets. The company has also withdrawn from Greece and Germany recently.
Other Betfair gaming products and fixed-odds sports book will still be available in Austria, however.
