Taking advantage of Michigan’s online gambling market, BetMGM capitalized on its name and the name of the NFL team in Detroit to partner with Everi to launch Lions Deluxe progressive slots. The Detroit Lions struck a deal with the sportsbook operator in September 2020.
The agreement with the Lions involves co-branding on team broadcast programming and digital marketing. The NFL team also has deals with Soaring Eagle Casino Resort and WynnBet.
Lions Deluxe represents another expansion of BetMGM’s long-standing collaboration with Everi Digital, the online gaming business of Everi Holdings Inc.
“BetMGM continues to set the standard for casino games in the state of Michigan and we are excited to continue to develop great games for players in the state,” Oliver Bartlett, BetMGM’s director of gaming told PlayUSA.
The game reinforces Everi’s commitment to gaming content for online players in Michigan, including progressive jackpots which are featured in this exclusive Detroit Lions game, said David Lucchese, Everi’s executive vice president of sales, marketing and digital.
The game depends on a 3×2-reel grid with nine pay lines, fixed multipliers and Detroit Lions wilds. Low-value symbols are represented by different forms of bars, whereas higher-paying symbols come in the form of a variety of lucky sevens.
A built-in “nudge” offers a better chance to win more spins or one of a quartet of jackpot prizes.
