BetMGM, FanDuel to Operate Sports Betting at Washington Casinos

Sports betting operator BetMGM has forged an exclusive market access partnership with the Puyallup Tribe of Indians to operate retail sports betting at the Emerald Queen Casino (l.) in Washington state. And FanDuel will partner with the Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort.

More companies are partnering with Washington tribes to take advantage of the monopoly tribes have been given to the state to conduct sports betting.

BetMGM, a leading sports betting and iGaming operator, announced today an exclusive market access partnership with the Puyallup Tribe of Indians to operate retail sports betting at the Emerald Queen Casino (EQC) in Washington State.

The announcement “marks another key moment in the expansion of BetMGM as we extend our western footprint into Washington,” said BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt. “The Puyallup Tribe and Emerald Queen Casino are ideal partners for us as they represent the same high-level of service, amenities and experiences that is built into our DNA at BetMGM.”

Emerald Queen Casino operates two properties in Fife and Tacoma, an expansive gaming enterprise owned by the Puyallup Tribe. Pending regulatory approvals, sports betting will be available at both locations in the near future. The BetMGM EQC Sportsbook in Tacoma will feature state-of-the-art sports betting and viewing technology. Guests will be able to place bets at any of six ticket windows and 30 kiosks. The sports viewing area will includes a dozen 86-inch high-def TVs and a 500-plus square foot LED Wall. EQC Fife will offer sports betting at 22 betting kiosks.

Meanwhile, FanDuel and Port Madison Enterprises have announced plans to bring a FanDuel Sportsbook to the Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort in Suquamish, Washington.

The new FanDuel Sportsbook at Suquamish Clearwater will feature three live betting windows and 12 self-service betting terminal kiosks. The sportsbook will have 17 screens to feature all of the game-day action, which includes a 31-by-9-foot high-definition video wall and comfortable club chair seating. Additionally, three self-service betting kiosks will be located in the casino’s Beach Rock Music and Sports Lounge, which features 11 screens, including a 24.5-by-11.5-foot screen and seating for over 250 people.

Sports bettors and guests visiting Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort will be able to enjoy a FanDuel Sportsbook retail experience featuring wagering options available across all major sporting events.
